What cookies are
Cookies are small values a website or provider can store in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and other identifiers used to remember state, secure a request, or measure use.
Current production position
Project Monet uses Google Analytics 4 as optional analytics. The Google Analytics tag loads only after you select Accept analytics. Selecting Decline leaves it unloaded.
The form wizard keeps answers in the page while it is open. It does not save those answers to analytics or persistent browser storage. The site uses temporary session storage for the first landing page, referring page, and UTM source, medium, campaign, and content so this context can accompany a form submission. This first-touch record expires when the browser session ends and is not used for cross-site advertising.
Essential technology
Cloudflare Pages hosts the website, and Cloudflare provides content delivery, TLS, DNS, and security services. Cloudflare and other essential providers may process request data needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, balance traffic, or maintain security. These functions are not used by Project Monet to build advertising profiles.
External links, Instagram, Web3Forms, Cloudflare, and other third-party services have their own cookie and privacy practices when you interact with them.
Optional analytics
When accepted, Google Analytics can set or read analytics identifiers and measure page views and supported interactions such as scrolls, outbound clicks, site searches, downloads, videos, and form interactions. Our own events measure Audit and Viral calls to action, successful submissions, the Websites link, and click-to-email.
A successful Audit request or Viral Mandate application is also recorded as a generate_lead event. Our custom analytics events use a restricted list of action labels, not form answers or contact details. The site sends page locations without URL queries or fragments. Google Analytics may still receive technical data and identifiers needed to measure site use.
Your choice and storage
The site stores your accepted or declined analytics choice in your browser’s local storage, under project-monet-analytics-consent:v1. If you accept, Google Analytics may also use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. If you decline before accepting, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. The first-touch attribution record is held in session storage under project-monet-first-touch-attribution:v1 until the browser session ends.
Use Cookie preferences in the footer on any page to accept or decline analytics later. If you withdraw after accepting, the site disables analytics, removes accessible first-party GA cookies, and reloads without the optional tag. This stops future optional measurement on this browser, but does not erase data already received by Google. Browser controls can also delete site storage; blocking necessary storage may affect some functions.

We will update this page if the site begins using new cookie categories or analytics tools. Use the Email Project Monet link in the footer for questions.
